Reccer's notes: I finally got to listen to this earlier this month and promptly fell in love. There is plenty of emotion in the reading without losing any of the precise diction a plotty audiofic needs for me to really grasp what's going on. I did like this story when I originally read it, but that was so long ago I had basically forgotten the plot, so it was fantastic to hear something fresh. And while this is an AU of The End 'verse, meaning lots of automatic angst, I still felt uplifted at the end. This is NOT the type of thing you listen to in one sitting. I listened to an hour or two a day for about a week. It will grab you and leave you clinging to the edge of your seat, yet it has appropriately timed intervals. So throw on your headphones, take a long walk nightly, and get lost in strangeandcharm's post-Apocalyptic world.
