Reccer's notes: I would be remiss in my reccing duties if I didn't mention this classic sprawling fic 'verse. musesfool was an incredibly prolific spn writer back in the day, writing broadly across the fandom, wincest and het alike. The Beggers Would Ride 'verse combines those two interests, tackling girl!Sam and Dean's pre-series relationship with detailed attention to its evolution. As with most of musesfool's writing, it is very sensual with lots of emotional exploration and reflection. The 'verse contains over a dozen timestamps, going up through mid-S4 and then the more distant future. I haven't read them all, but it's definitely a rich universe to explore.
