So today I like, love Taiwan. Possibly it's because I spent like seven hours at one of the best night markets in the country today and bought a fuckton of clothes and food and stuff for like, thirty dollars, total. I can't even remember how I found out about Wang Leehom, all I know is I heard Forever Love and was like omg. I understand only the five English words in it but his voice is beautiful.

I KNEW NOTHING ABOUT HIM really until my friend took me to an appearance he made at the mall around the corner a few weeks ago. Now when I mention that to people, they keep threatening to kill me because he's OMG SO FAMOUS and really, I had no idea! Also I've seen like two of his movies, one of which is actually pretty good! IT COSTARS JACKIE CHAN.

I don't know if they've all got like, teams of roaming stylists following them everywhere, or maybe they are all naturally that hair gifted, or maybe it's L'Oreal

I am getting a haircut in a few days and tbh i have no idea who i want to emulate most here, probably hebe but. man.

oh unless you mean how they are stalked by the paparazzi in a seriously gross way since they aren't nearly rich or influential enough to have the resources to like defend themselves at all, or how jiro only made enough to live off of like $150 a month for a bunch of the time he was famous, or how many of them have literally been made to work themselves into unconsciousness or injury and go to the hospital

WELL there is the thing where my enthusiastic thoughtless fanning of them is sort of messed up if you consider how messed up the industry is, but if I go the other way and pity them then I'm being undeniably at least slightly obnoxiously paternalistic. IT ALL MAKES ME :/ SO HARD MAN.

I was waiting to show Bridgette this awesome thing of amazingness, and I accidentally stayed up too late and got a second wind of wakefulness.
