Having not seen the first Transporter, I am pleased that Statham is such a good action hero. I also liked how he wasn't masterful at everything (a la Cruise in MI2). He was just great at two things: 1) fighting and 2) driving.

Not only did I bring Sabrina to see The Transporter, but I didn't see it this weekend because she was out of town and we're going to see it together.

Well said, and I agree. I thought the performances, starting with Fiennes and straight on to Bill Nighy, who was fantastic, were marvelous, but the story sort of dragged when it should be action! terror! intrigue! And Mereilles has a great eye, but I wished he'd, like, pull back every once in awhile so I could see more than Ralph's left eye, nose, and cheekbone.

I was, though, very impressed by the size of the audience at a 9:30 show in Syracuse. Very good turnout.
