Rock + Roll Progress Report

Now that the longest streak of new albums by favorite artists of mine is over, I have completed a progress report for the artists in question. It should be noted that I'm a pretty easy grader.

Beck
Last Album: Beck was sad, and so was Sea Change. Some of the songs are gorgeous, but the album as a whole is a bit of a drone ( Read more... )

Sigur Ros( ) (the "untitled" album or the "paretheses" album), 2002 ( ... )

I actually have the Sigur Ros record prior to ( ) ... I like it pretty well, though I haven't picked it up in ages. I did fall asleep to it often (although at least once it started skipping and in my half-asleep state I didn't exactly realize it).

BT sounds better than what I had assumed he was like (I think I was picturing, who's that other guy... Oakenfold).

I'm completely disinterested in Coldplay -- that's sleepy in a bad way ;)

Oh, and 'cause I like lists, my top two albums ever are probably John Henry by They Might Be Giants and Abbey Road by the Beatles.
