It's finally over, i guess

I saw the 217 area code on my caller id and my heart sank. Gary passed away late last night (1:30) in his sleep. His brother said it was peaceful and that, at the time, he was not in any pain. I'm still reconciling this. I saw him just 4 weeks ago and was told he had 3-6 months, so I was shocked when I found how quickly things had deteriorated
