I just wanted to check, though--I noticed you asked if everyone speaks French, which.... well, let's just say I'm pretty much terrible at speaking French and you would want me to shut up if I tried. Will that be a problem? I don't want to arrive and wind up forcing everyone else to speak English just to accommodate only me....
