I tried to remember the steps to make that icon....hope it's what she was looking for ^^
this time I took this cap (thanx to
janie_tangerine who's been hooked up on LOST by me *lol* XD i'm made of awesome, i know *gh*)

cropped it 100x100
duplicate the base 3 times since it's too dark and set them all to screen
Layer >> New Adjustment layer >> Color Balance >> set it to color
Midtones: -40, 0 , +40
Shadows: -40, 0, 0
Layer >> New Adjustment layer >> Channel mixer >> opacity 64%
Red: 158%, -64%, 0
Green: 0%, 96%, 0%
Blue: -58%, 58%, 89%
Layer >> New Adjustment layer >> Color Balance >> set it to color
Midtones: +6, -31, 17
Shadows: -40, 11, 0
Layer >> New Fill Layer >> Exclusion >> #030916
duplicate the base, drag it to the top and set to soft light.
sharpen
