watching the watchmen

Watched the Watchmen with Ben last night. Comic book - yes, film? BORING. having like 10 character have flashbacks does not make a cohesive  film narrative. And Dr. Manhattan's dick was fuckin' huge. It wasn't that big in the comic - whose decision was that one?? Watchmen gets the award for most awkward sex scene set to Hallelujah. Daylight savings

Aww, I kinda liked it. Although I've never read the comic book (actually, I'd never even heard of Watchmen at all until about three hours before I went to see the movie...) and for me at the moment, pretty much anything that does not involve Japanese history is a welcome distraction. XD

But yeah, that sex scene was ridiculously awkward. And much too geeky for me to handle. Come on, taking off their superhero costumes in some spaceship-like-thing?! I just felt like I was watching every geeky straight boy's fantasy, and that is not something I particularly want to see. =(
