I agree with your opening sentiment. I don't write in my livejournal too much anymore because I either have nothing to complain about or I would just complain about the same stuff I've complained about before (moreso the latter, I guess).

Also I have to say that I am very jealous of your scooter. I would love to live somewhere where I could own one of those and ride around on it everywhere instead of owning a car and/or depending on public transportation.
