Crappy car accidents aside, the stuff that's occured in the past week (in point form for lazy diarists):

One. Dad’s got a new car - it’s very sleek, shiny and silver, leather seats. Can we say “mid-life crisis”?

Two. Sister’s 21st is on Saturday. My mother is incredibly stressed over its organisation - therefore I have to be too. Sigh
