You forgot the rising cost of houses and the news that the human papilloma virus inoculation will be denied to girls because "they might have sex" and therefore they should just be left to catch cervical cancer as an alternative. And will have sex anyway.
And also... how about all those cameras that are running all sorts of tracking and recognition software... that are claimed to be able to reduce the crime figures which have risen?
