I was supposed to get my hair cut today and I was SOOO looking forward to it, but it was cancelled when my stylist called in sick. (Day after Canada Day...I'm going to go ahead and guess "hangover"). Now it's rescheduled for the 8th which happens to also be the day I have to have my biopsy. I guess it will be good to have the haircut to look

Oh, you've become one of THEM. My parent company distributes her books in Canada and there's a huge launch party (ala Harry Potter) at midnight when the new book pubs.

Yes! I totally am one of THOSE people! Yesterday I was reading some of the fan boards, and discovered that people have taken to writing OME instead of OMG (for Oh My Edward -- the vampire). Please if you ever see that on my LJ, STAB ME SEVERAL TIMES WITH SOMETHING VERY POINTY.

Do you mean the Twilight books? Yeah, I hear they're supposed to be the new Harry Potter. Although there could be a glut of vampire love stories shortly. There's this bizarre TV show set to premiere on HBO about a telepathic waitress who falls in love with a vampire. It stars Anna Paquin and is written by Alan Ball, who should know better. Words can not express its craptitude.
