The Growlithe and Gengar are kind of cute, but I'm not really feeling the others. I really wanted to like the Dragonair--he's always been one of my favorite dragons--but he looks too cutesy for my tastes. (Also, he's not long enough, but I guess it would be pretty hard to make a proportional Dragonair that was under 6" tall.)
Well, poketime is cutesy, so I guess Dragonair was always going to be cutesy? I'm curious to see what he looks like IRL, actually. I like this one better than the bootleg, though. Gengar and Growlithe are definitely the strongest designs here, though.
They look super cute! I'll probably pass though unless someone reports back on the fabric being really nice...? I dunno. I like growlithe a lot but I'm noooot a fan of faux fur blegh. I'm really happy to see non-uber-expensive-designer PT plush though! I mean, I like the designer plush, too, but these are much more generally accessible!
I guess we'll just see what they look like when they come out! Although the fur might end up being like the long fur on the sleepy starters, in which case it will be pretty nice.
Personally I'm loving the derpy-low-quality/retro look. It reminds me of my old hasbros :3 Actually, no, there still better than the Hasbros >.> I just love the simple shapes is all! As much as I love the super refined plush they bring out now - and I do LOVE them - this is just so fun.
I am still pretty tempted to get a growlithe... super cute. ;_; But ugggh I dunno. Poketiiiime...!!
The designer plush are gorgeous but the PT style is such a good style for mass produced plush too. <3 You know what I mean! The shapes really are lovely. :D
I do believe that is a tiny smile, yes. IKR? How crazy that it took this long for a fire pony to get a plush...I think, though, that they wanted to bring in pokemon that would sell really well rather than just limit themselves to this years promo?(don't know if that applies to Farfetch'd though)
I was quite surprised to see Farfetch'd and Ponyta! I would of expected one of the plush to be Mew before these guys! I thought of you when I saw the birdy. I'm really excited to get the Gengar and Growlithe. :3 The fabric and look remind me of the "Dream Pet" style which is a plush series I also collect. I'll probably have to wait 3 more years for them to get back to Hoenn. XD Come on, Shroom and Sloth line! I believe in you!
I had kinda hoped that they might go for pokemon from other promos, but Farfetch'd is definitely a real surprise! I don't even know what to think. Well, I mean, aside from WOOHOO!
Dream Pet! Those plush are gorgeous. Aren't they related to PSP "Modern Pets" somehow...? I've always wondered, but never really be able to find out.
PokeTime Breloom would be the best thing ever. Really!
I must admit, I got a little initial pang of disappointment, BUT. THAT'S OK. BECAUSE I'M A FABRIC BENDER. And I accept this challenge. B] All the more reason to be excited about the free time I'll have after my final exam~
Though I did a bit of flail when I saw there was a Farfetch'd plush. THEY MUST'VE BEEN INSPIRED BY MY PLOOSH./brick'd These plush all look really nice; I probably won't get any, but every one of these plush brings to mind a collector that'll be so happy to get this, which is still adorable and stuff. c: IMMA JIST LIVE VICARIOUSLY THOUGH YOU K BB. <3
