I do too. It makes sense in a twisted sort of way, but the fact is that she's 100% wrong. Cyrus's idea of a perfect world is completely different from hers. But of course, he only told his Commanders the parts of the plan that would appeal to them.
I really liked the characters interacting, how Eva first is there with unsympathetic Jupiter, and then Mars shows up as mothering and friendly, and then slowly becomes less so. Eva seemed a bit collected and angry than I'd expect near the middle, but it worked, and her ending was perfect, still handing over the disc and obeying even after the denouncement. And the alternating italic sections were a great idea, contrasting with how in-control Mars seemed. A nice take on the whole of the team. I didn't much like them in-game, but here they're vibrant and interesting, with an intriguing insane core.
