Hmm. I'm curious to see what Giovanni wrote in the poem!
I can see him having that reaction, even to a friend, to someone who tried to bug him during school.
Aww, the story with Persian was said, but also very sweet. The mental image I got of Persian following Giovanni all the way home is very cute.

And the way I see Sebastian and Giovanni's relationship during their childhood, Sebastian was basically just trying to get into a decent school, as I pointed out in the story. Giovanni's basically a trust fund kid, as it were, and can pretty much screw around all he wants, as long as he's got Mommy's money to play with. So naturally, he's got a more devil-may-care attitude about life.

Azurill requested a poem about Researchershipping on my LJ, and since I couldn't do a poem, I did a story about a poem. It came out less about the poem, and more about Giovanni being a general hellraiser as a kid.
