Ooh...this is intriguing! I always thought it was interesting to imagine that Team Rocket is a huge, sprawling organization with a hand in nearly everything, including frivolous moneymakers like the entertainment industry. Very cool! Cosimo seems interesting too, will you be writing more about him? The way his personality has reacted to fame could be interesting, considering it sounds like a rags-to-riches Cinderella-type story (with added death threats).

I would like to see more of the Godfather Giovanni style, actually. Having just read it all the way through The Godfather, the references make me smile. Good job!

There are similarities, but I didn't base him off of either of them. If you want to compare him to the Godfather, he is ruthless like Michael but cunning and manipulative like Vito.
