God, I'm so sorry. I've been trhough it a few times myself and it never is any easier. You did the right thing for the poor thing but it is just so hard. Let yourself grieve. She found you; she was never lost. She jsut was looking for you. And you tok care of her babies too. I'm sure they are all in great homes with lots of love. Sometimes a cat can be so special and uniquely amazing. Those are the ones imbued with "soul" and those are the ones that are all in heaven warming up by a nice fire and continuing to bring joy. I know that sounds hokey but hey...I really believe it so if that makes me a werido, so be it. I KNOW I will see my lovely Buddy and Rupert there someday. My boys who died on the same day in 1999. One was put down and the other hit by a car; I'm convinced he wanted to be with Rupert. Now I'm babbling on like a crazy old cat lady and getting all weepy.
