Unfortunately I've lost the original image file, so the poster isn't as clear and sharp as it's supposed to be. But yeah, I loved doing stuff like this. When I was 'in the zone', I forgot about everything else and just concentrated on whatever I was working on.
MySpace was a great big pile of shite, much like Facebook is now! MySpazz (or The Spazz), we used to call it. It did have one good thing about it that no other social media site has though (not even LiveJournal): you could embed a music-player on your profile page and add six of your favourite songs to it, and visitors to your page could play them. That was especially useful for bands as they could use it to let people hear their music. It really worked, too. When I was in Sad Society, we had over 20,000 followers on our MySpace page. We only had about 100 folk in the audience at our gigs, but we felt like we were world-famous!
I played bass in Sad Society for two periods, in 1998 and then from 2007 to 2009, if I remember correctly. I still went to their gigs after I left the band, but I haven't seen them for quite a while due to the Covid lockdowns and then me being ill. I'll try to get to their next gig though. I think they have one coming up sometime soon.
