So I keep thinking that I must make an effort to come here and make posts and talk about things.

I'll start by telling you all:

a) You should watch The Musketeers. It's a brilliant series. Series 1 is currently available on DVD and series 2 is due to start on 2nd January.

b) Those of you who don't need persuading, you should visit the new comm musketeerstillsRead more... )

I watched 01x01 in English when I visited a friend in Scotland and ... I wasn't much fan of the way they pronounced all the names in English. :o( [It's sooo different to the way I know it from other movies.]

I'll check it out again in German (on 21st December) and will decide then if I'll keep watching it - in German. :o) [I already looked for a German trailer but didn't find anything. So I really have to wait until 21st December to see if it's different to English.]

BUT nevertheless: Have fun watching it. :o)

I am now wondering how you pronounce the names in German! The way they pronounce them in the show is the standard English pronunciation. I hope you end up liking it in German :)

Yes. :o( After your comment I checked for old trailers and I heard it was always the same. (I wonder why a friend told me there was no difference between English and German because there is. ^^)

I found old trailers:
- https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=j_N5geHGctI 00:12 -->> "Athos, Porthos & Aramis"
- https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=3AToivdqIME 00:25 -->> "D'Artagnan"

That's how I know it. :o)

I really wonder now how they say it in French ...?!

I enjoyed it in German. (They said the names exactly the way I know it.)

01x02 made me cry after they noticed the Louvre. :o( No idea why but it took me an hour to finally calm down again. *sighs*

Well, I just wanted to say - I took two of your images and made icons!

And I did ask, and noted you as creator, but you've been gone for awhile (and yes, I should have waited, but...)

Is it an issue? If so, I'll take them down.

Sorry - I haven't been in Pros land for quite a while. But yes, no problemo!

Hiya! Strangely enough, was just thinking of you yesterday. Queen of the scary todo lists and icon maker extraordinaire...

(a) Am already up to speed with the Musketeers. Yay! Was on utter tenterhooks wondering how much of the storyline the BBC was going to follow towards the end. :)

(b) Icon making? I still can't even remove my thumb from my photos. But I can applaud the results!

Hello! And yay, great to find another Musketeers fan!

I haven't made icons in ages, but I saw that someone had started this comm and thought it's time I get back into it.
