Ohh, I really like this series. John Simm is fabulous! He's so different here. I'm a period junkie so this worked very well.

One that I just watched was the Italian production of Borgia. Excellent work. http://www.imdb.com/title/tt1736341/

I'm currently watching the Jeremy Irons version and while it's good, the Italian one was so much better. I wish I'd seen this one first because I would have liked it more. That edge isn't there with this one.

And the cast is absolutely top-notch, including the talents of John Simm, Dominic West, Michael Fassbender, Peter Capaldi and Tim McInnerney.

You forgot Harry Lloyd. ;)

He was pretty awesome in his very brief appearance, especially in the very short scene with John Simm that launched a thousand Baines/Master fics. ;)
