Sleeper Cell ep 1

Watched the first episode of Sleeper Cell last night (no spoilers beyond this ep please!). It started off well, and I like Michael Ealy (who I know only from Flashforward in which he was good, or rather complicated) and especially Oded Fehr. But it trailed off by doing a bit too much set-up, a bit too much deconstruction of set-up, and nowhere near ( Read more... )

I think it does but it isn't shallow. There is violence at times.

I've seen the second ep now and rather enjoyed it - it was more polished and... 'together' than the first one, I think. I think I'll enjoy the series after all.

Come to think of it, my main criticism of the first episode would really have to be that it was too dark and the speech volume was too much lower than the music volume.

It doesn't rush I suppose but does keep you on the edge of your seat. Esther liked it a lot.
When it was on C4 they did it in 2 episode blocks which was VERY intense.
