Day 2: Favourite guest star?

The last of those has been in it, but it's a long time since I saw S2 (e.g. when it was on), so I can't say how much he's in it. Interestingly enough, his surname was North...
Denis Lawson needs to be in it! I hadn't considered that before, but he'd be so right. (This is another reason you need to see Jekyll, btw.)

Denis Lawson was in Jekyll? Oh my, I really really should catch up with it then!

Yes, in every episode. It's a great role, amongst all the other great roles. Have I mentioned there is nothing I do not love about that show?

And Iain Glen - funny that, I've been thniking of buying the DVD of "The Fear" to see if it impresses me as much now as it did then.
Meanwhile the OH (lord and master of the TV remote) has just discovered Spooks. With you and him reccing it, I'll give in eventually...

Spooks is a strange show when you first encounter it, especially if you're already a Pros fan. At first, I couldn't stop complaining about how Harry (the boss, see icon) just doesn't seem a strong enough character - because I was so used to Cowley! The camerawork and delivery can be a bit uneven too. But I think you settle into it, especially if there are characters you're especially fond of. This series is looking good, but for me the golden age is seasons 5-7 (characters like Malcolm, Zaf, Connie, Ros and Adam - all of whom have now left - make those series very strong).
