Cranford last night was wonderful as always. No spoilers, but if you're a fan of pleasant, heart-warming period drama, this is for you, even if you think it isn't.

I recorded 'Triffids' - will let you know what I thought once I watch it.

New trailer for DW looks fascinating (Wilf in a Tie Fighter - what?) - can't wait.

And in case you missed David Tennant being all lovely and red-velvety on QI, the XL edition is on tonight! Huzzah!

I ended up watching Triffids after all and thought it was OK. Maybe not much better than that, but watchable. It had some decent CGI for once. I think I'll watch the second half. Let me know what you thought :)

I know, Tie Fighter! WOW! Can't wait to find out what the rationale behind that is...

OMG - I just watched Catherine Tate's 'Nan's Christmas Carol' - David Tennant playing the Ghost of Christmas Present as Russell Brand - funniest damn thing I have seen all year...
