I was just cleaning and polishing my Mum's thimble rack, and I discovered a fat little spider sitting happily behind a thimble in a thick web (in a hole that can't be more than 1"x1" and filled with the thimble) and two juicy ladybirds ready to feast on. Ewwww

See, I totally imagine it the other way around - Doyle would rescue it and take it safely to the garden if he found it, but... Actually, there was a fun Bodie-with-spider icon around a couple of years ago - I've not seen it for ages, though...

Spiders don't bother me, but I don't live in a region where they bite people, or I'd probably be less benign. It's those big waterbugs that give me the creeps, though I know they are essentially harmless (though unhygienic if they get into the garbage and then go walkabout).
I can't, honestly, see Doyle being intimidated by any such.
