Why does that Beowulf and Grendel review talk about the film as an "English-language version" of a "Scandinavian epic"? The original poem is in English - not Old Norse! Some of the Icelandic sagas are set in part in northern Britain - would that make it sensible to describe a modern Icelandic version of a saga as an "Icelandic-language version of a British saga"?
Oh dear, I don't suppose the filmmakers quite understand what they're adapting. Well, that's filmmakers for you. Hmm, I wonder if it will be faithful to the story... ;)
