I LOVE THIS!!! OMG. So much hurt, so many lost. It was heartbreaking but there was hope too, at the idea of the League reforming and of course Batman will be there.

I'd love to see more in this verse.

Yay! I'm happy you liked it!

I love the complicatedness of the relationships here, and how flawlessly you've weaved them, so that they make perfect sense.

Given their history, plus the awful things I did to them, I'm glad to hear it worked.

And you can just see Lian trying to help that happen, but ultimately giving in to the crushing weight that Gotham places on its defender's shoulders. Ultimately, she really was too much of an Arrow to make it work, and that's so incredibly believable.

Despite losing him early on, Lian is so her father's daughter and I thought that should be an important part to focus on. My Lian muse was being stubborn at first, but eventually became very cooperative and helped me out!

Hope you had a great birthday and I'm thrilled you enjoyed your fic! =)

So this is what happens in a world where the Justice League and Justice Society are gone. And the pain between all of them --- Helena, Tim, and Lian --- was so palpable that it almost choked my heart. Semi-literally. The note of hope you left at the end was what made the entire thing more than just a depressing look at a "post-apocalyptic" DCU. Great work.

Initially, it was all doom and gloom, but it didn't work for some reason. So, I'm glad you enjoyed the little bit of hope at the end! =)
