Now there's a theme tune that dredged up some long forgotten memories.

I used to sit and watch Mary Mungo and Midge with my Great-Grandmother, who looked after me when my parents were at work when I was very small.

Nostalgia indeed.

Yes, I think most of my memories of M,M & M were watching at my Grand parents' with my sister. We used to stay the night when my parents wanted a night out as it was only a couple of miles down the road.

I grew up within walking distance of all my Grand parents (OK it was a longish walk for a child but meant we could comfortably drop in for a few hours) Guess I was lucky.
