auburn sounds scarily like A&M when it comes to anything with a ticket.

they don't publicize certain events on campus because they want to be able to give all the tickets to their benefactors. when Gen Franks came to campus for 'an intimate evening with george bush', they moved it to the largest auditorium on campus instead of the small auditorium at the presidential library where the 'intimate evenings' are usually held so more people could go. the tickets were even free!! but they didn't tell any students about it until the day of the event and they realized that not enough hoody-doos were gonna show up to fill the place.

Tickets thing sounds eerily familiar. We're hoping that there's no rain here, otherwise the ceremony gets moved to our teeny tiny basketball court. And even with the small size of the graduating classes, that means that every graduate will only get 2 tickets, which means that there won't be any extras. But so far, forecast looks good...(knock on wood)

Anyway, CONGRATULATIONS!
