Yes, that was really the title. Yes, I submitted this for a class. Yes, I got an A on it and the teacher noted "I seriously need to see this show"" on it. OHOHO!

Stella and RayV staying together is pure fandom, just as Fraser and Kowalski staying together is pure fandom. No follow-up movie was ever made that showed them as couples, so you don't have to believe they stayed together.

I prefer to think that RayV dropped the bitch and went back to Chicago, and Fraser and Kowalski had a fight and Kowalski returned to Chicago alone, while Fraser stayed in Canada. Then the Rays became friends. Stella was out of their lives permanently, but Fraser remained a close friend to both Rays, and spent time with both of them every year.

I don't like to think of RayV as the "big brother" to Fraser, and I don't understand why this idea is pushed in fandom. Making RayV the "big brother" means that he and Fraser have an unequal relationship, while making Ray Kowalski the "life partner" means that he and Fraser have an equal relationship ( ... )
