I have an unfinished, in need of massive edits, robot-themed kinkmeme fill fic. What has been written has been posted anon and is likely to look quite different after editing, and I have a great deal of writing still to go. Can I participate using that story?

As long as you're going to be adding/rewriting at least 5k of new fic, then yes, by all means (in other words, as long as your piece is not basically finishing and all you have to do is slap a title on it and run spell check).

Hey there!

I'm interested in drawing, but four weeks is really tight to do claims, reading a big bang and then pushing out completed artwork, especially if there's a chance you'll be looking for artists to draw for more than one writer. Is there any way to have artist claims earlier?

The original schedule had 5 weeks from claims to final drafts being due, but I've adjusted the schedule a bit and there's more time for everyone in there now. I think it actually works better for me mod-wise, too, so everyone wins \o/ And there's always a bit of wiggle room if you can let me know in advance what's up.

Just "robot" is best because it's recognizable and succinct, but: artificial lifeforms? Non-biological lifeforms? I sound like I'm drafting transhumanist legislature. XD

Are there any restrictions in terms of rating/content that we should be aware of?

Warnings are a must from your community header, for anything that may be triggering, and the only hard and fast 'no' is to underage RPF. Other than that, you should use your best judgement. :)

One further question. The rough draft - how complete does it need to be? I'm seriously considering this, but not sure I can have my fic complete by early August.

Beginning, middle, end, enough for an artist to understand what's going on and preferably 80% of the min word count (8k).

Are writer sign-ups open until drafts are due, or is there an earlier cut-off that I'm not seeing?
