Hi peoples, I miss you.

Here are some photos from my trip to Nicaragua in December.I studied Spanish for two weeks at Mariposa School/Ecohotel and then went and visited with the family my mom is living with on a small farm in northern Nicaragua.My mother is spending the next two years in a area that was destroyed by Hurricane Mitch.

Great to hear of your travels. This is awesome stuff you're doing, and I have mad respect for you.

Incidentally, I am learning Spanish. My cohort in ops at my current job is from Spain, and his English is decent but not great. I am taking the opportunity to learn Spanish so we have another language to share ideas. We're going to have a Spanish-only day once a week, and as my Spanish improves, we'll add more. :-)
