I've been thinking of doing a "What You Might Not Know About Canada" segment. Or at least, "What I Didn't Know About Canada". For example, I didn't realize that Quebec-and French Canadians in general, really-are rather loathed by the majority of Canadians. Also! I enjoyed this post a lot. As a current resident of Minnesota (which, according to my friend, is pretty much Canada already), I recognize the "short a" phenomenon. Do they pronounce "bag" "bayg" there, too?

They dislike French Canadians (not the French French) because they want to secede from Canada, even though they're RIGHT SMACK IN THE MIDDLE OF IT.

If one of the states wanted to secede, I'm pretty sure they would be loathed by the U.S. Your assessments on talent were just obnoxious.
