Census gig now officially over with the turning-in of the badges and, alas, the satchel. (I suppose they don't want George running about impersonating a wodge of enumerator questionnaires or something.) We got attacked by a census taker even though we did mail in our form. She was a very nice lady and the whole time she was there I kept thinking of you. Too bad George doesn't get a unique carry bag. You should knit him one with some of that gorgeous wool you sell. I am about to finish a large shawl on a knitting board for my daughter-in-law and then I can start something with that great yarn. I'm thinking a sweater for my new grandson.

Yeah, I got a couple of people who said they'd mailed in their forms, but this is Chicago, mail carriers here have been known to go berserk and keep the mail for themselves...

The trouble with wool would be static, though (a nice felted cover did cross my mind -- maybe there would be something I could line it with...)

And I demand pictures of whatever you've made with that yarn, yes, I do. ;)

Use cotton yarn. No static.

There will be pictures when I finish. Probably before the end of the century.
