{claws her way up out of a pile of boxes} Okay, I'm loooong past ready for the Moving Fairy to wave his wand and unpack-and-place all of this crap, thankyouverymuch... DSL has actually probably been working since the guy came out a couple of days after the move, if you want to know the truth, but I felt it incumbent upon myself to at least clear a path through the combined regrets of 102 woman-years of Acquiring Of Stuff before I broke down and hooked up Gaius, since I don't think I have to tell any of you what getting the internets connection back up and running does to one's productivity flow. But since I found myself with some time to start a knitting project this evening, I now deem it Reasonable And Safe to reestablish communications with the outside world. Also, the cable's out and I get nervous when I have no access to news for longer than 20 minutes or so.
(Gaius seems to have made the trip over in good health, DSL fixin's and all, except that completely at random the USB ports on my keyboard seem to have gone on strike. Will try emailing company about it, since it's not quite a year old, but lord help me if they want to see its papers is all I can say.)
