I believe that's the result of language packs.

Hmm.. I thought that too. I thought that I installed one from Microsoft, but everything's still coming up squares. I didn't restart though...

Eh... It'll get figured out eventually.

For me, I set Unicode programs to Japanese on Control Panel > Regional and Language Options > Advanced, assuming you have the language pack installed. That requires the restart.~

I finally managed it today. I was having problems getting my computer to register my Windows XP CD (since it's the Dell disk), but for some reason it took today when it wouldn't yesterday.

Go figure.

Though, I did find out it only took me two days to get the BSoD. Ah, Microsoft, how I love thee.
