idk, figured I should practice on this thing since I have no fucking clue how to use it. FFNet might be a cesspool of crap but at least it's easy to work. -_-

Well, as I said last month, although I’m pleased by the consistently-high calibre of work surrounding our boys, I do get rather tired of seeing the same names and fics, etc, everywhere but the bloody crib, so I’d like to bring to the table a few unsung gems I have uncovered during my time in the USUK fandom. [ALSO, to blue-osco-fairy, thank you *so much* for the HTML help but apparently I am actually beyond help with LJ. I tried and tried and just couldn't get it right so I've just done the best I can on my own. I'm very sorry for the sloppiness here, everyone - I hope my recs will make up for it~! :3]

I thought putting all this in one comment would be taking the cake a little so I hope it's okay for me to post twice. After getting those more famous lovely ladies out of the way, I would like to now give some much-needed floor space to a few VERY unsung heroes I have come across during my USUK Fandom Adventures:
frank-d: I honestly wouldn’t ever have discovered this artist had she not drawn a few pieces of artwork based on some of my fics - and I’m SO glad she did because then I got to see her wonderful art! Hers has a kind of old-school look about it, drawing in elements of both the classic comic book and the pin-up, and some of her pieces are smoking hot. It's even in the title of my personal favourite: http://frank-d.deviantart.com/gallery/25151317#/d341uh9 (She also drew Arthur in short-shorts based on a fic I wrote for Haku and hey, who doesn’t love them some Arthur in short-shorts? XD)
