SimpsonsOn Sunday, the Simpsons did the second show in a row that contained blatant criticism of the war in Iraq. I'm not naive. I know that the people behind the Simpsons, and most other shows, have a liberal bent. There have been criticisms of the government before. And of Bush. Then again, there was an episode (2F02 "Sideshow Bob Roberts")

Well I'm liberal and elite. I'm not sure I'm both of them at the same time, but nevertheless, you still love me! I say continue to love the Simpsons. I can't imagine Matt Groening really wants to turn it into a political show.

I have a brilliant plan. All the people who want a war in Iraq should go fight it, and the rest of us can get on with what we're doing. I find it almost fundamentally wrong, but at least the people dying from the West really felt like it was necessary for them to do so.
