Characters/Pairings: The Outlaws/ Vauge hints at Robin/Much and Allan/Will.
Rating: PG
Notes: The moment I saw the words singing and dancing, I got this idea. ^_^;; Can you blame me, really? The song’s a bit more modern than I’d like, but half an hour of wading through internet!muck has defeated me, finally. Plus the song’s funny (Barbara Allen). No spoilers. Set… Any time after Djaq arrives, I ‘spose. I didn’t count the song words as part of the drabble, because a) it takes up too much, and b) it seemed like it wasn’t RIGHT for it to be counted in the drabble words. A bit fluffy?
Disclaimer: I do not own Robin Hood. Gah.
“Farewell, she said, ye virgins all,
And shun the fault I fell in.
Henceforth take warning by the fall
Of cruel Barbara Allen!”
And with that, Allan collapsed in a boneless heap, grinning like there was no tomorrow. The rest of the outlaws were also drunk (save Djaq, who staunchly refused to touch alcohol). Will was completely gone, previously slumped against Allan’s leg as he stood singing, and now sprawled on the floor. Robin and Much were asleep by the fire, snuggling more than usual (John claimed it unnatural). John was slumped against a tree trunk, laughing heartily at Allan’s singing - he was definitely not the most talented bard in the shire.
Djaq smiled, content. This was her family; this was her home.
