Because I've had trouble keeping up with my reading, I'm going to change my book report style a bit. Now I'm aiming to write reviews on Goodreads and simply post the link here. But I'm also going to change my star system

The first two seem especially interesting, but I am boggling at someone trying to drive in a blizzard when he's never even seen snow before.

The first one was really good (imo); the second was okay, but yeah, why would anyone attempt that (though he was portrayed as pretty clueless)? If you had the chance to read the second for free, you'd probably enjoy the sweetness of it, but I don't think I'd pay for it, LOL.
