It is bitterly cold here tonight. Having spent last week in Palm Springs and Racho Mirage, I have to say that I've lost my tolerance for this crappy winter weather. I headed to the gym tonight and got in my cardio, but the place was nearly abandoned. Nobody else was venturing out tonight. So about eight-thirty I headed up to Barnes & Noble for

Jim and I went out this afternoon

after I got done at the Taylor house and got my bank errand run (KS had one more good dose of unemployment from the Feds for me... big surprise but I'm happy for it).

We went out to eat and got a long list of groceries. I was miserable because I could not get warm.

I finally figured out that I'd gone out without tights under my jeans. And the new coat that mom gave me is not as warm as it looks.

When we finally got home, I took a long hot shower. That finally did it. And I got my flannel jammies on.

It is kind of weird because I used to be impossibly hot all the time (not hot flashes, all the time).

Yikes.
