Well this one's getting split time. Because it's got two very, very awesome things: Tim!robin fighting Tim!Batman, and Tombstones that make the fangirl in me very happy.
On the one hand, there is lovely Tim characterization. On the other, why is there no "Beloved Father"? Dickie wouldn't stand for that (actually, neither would Jay, I think) And the BE K immediately pulled up Flamebird... I need to get out more.
During that whole scene I don't recall seeing Dick's name on any of those tomb stones. I don't know what it might mean, possibly nothing, but just noticed it (there was also one pic with all the visible tombstones with a name on them except for one... If my memory serves me right).
it's said in the run that Dick and Starfire were together and far away from all of what was going on. So Dick is alive and well, as far as one can assume.
there was a tombstone also that said "Ibn al Xu'ffasch" which is bruce and talia's out of continuity son (although with morrison coming on batman this may change).
this was a great arch. and yea, dick is alive and well, away from the fascist west, living with starfire (so says 'batwoman' bette kane)
