Mike Parobeck - One of the greatest regular artists Robin never had

It's over 12 years since the comic world lost Mike Parobeck, whose clean cartoony style was so against the then current "Image style" style of art which was so prevalent.

I had this comic. It was released in the US (at least) in a short-lived "Batman/Superman" magazine that you could only get through mailorder. It's been a long time since I saw this, but I swear that the art style reminds me of the old Robin comic -- what was it -- "For Want of a Nail"?

Thanks for the info about it's origin, I had a feeling it was going to be something like that, or the "DC Adventures" comics.

Not sure if it might be the issue you're thinking of, but "The Mouse that Are Gotham" in Robin 18 had a villain who based her crimes on the old verse about "For want of a nail..."

The art in that issue was by Mike Wieringo, another sad loss to comicdom last year, and whose art, and style, compares very favourably with Parobeck's.
