Nuit Blanche

Last night was Toronto’s second annual incarnation of Nuit blanche, an dusk-till-dawn art extravaganza taking place across the downtown core, modeled on a like event first tried in Paris. We didn’t check out its inaugural edition because the weather last year was nasty and cold, but it had a surprisingly high attendance despite our absence. ( Read more... )

You sure that wasn't an actual UFO crash and they tried to pass it off as part of the festival?

I did "Loopapalooza," the Chicago version, this year and stayed up all night, because really, how hard is that for a writer?

But yes, we had that same multi-site experiential happening that you did. And aside from one genius Starbuck's and the heroes at Dunkin Donuts, every coffee shop in the Loop left approximately three jillion bucks in cold hard cash lying on the ground.

I'm optimistic for next year.
