My main is ready for starting Black Temple & Mount Hyjal.

Whoah, that was fast. It helps playing catchup, being the only clothie in the raid that can benefit from a drop that would otherwise be sharded. The IMBA site (be.imba.hu) was very helpful, pointing out the specific gaps in my gear and suggesting the best way to fix.

I'll try not to be jealous, having played since beta and STILL not having the drops to be that well equipped. :P

heh i've had some luck, to be sure.

it helps to be the noob in a raid full of geared veterans.

Specifically, I lucked out to be hitting 70 right when Nytte & Laergo decided to run kara again, and got in with that group, even though they were dragging my sorry ass through for most of the trips with them until i got some gear and knowledge. and a lot of the time it really was 'take it cela, otherwise it'll get sharded.'
