So pretty! It looks so nice and green where you are. And that's a nice size back yard, too!

I love the way lilacs smell, so heady and like summertime.

Yep! It's all bright and warm outside with flowers and nice weather. It gets overcast and then lifts for an hour, and today I seized the sunny hour to get my photos. It's overcast again now.

I like your rose avatar, good photo!

Thanks! It was taken in my kitchen, the only room in this apartment that gets good lighting.

Beautiful tree, what kind? anonymous July 8 2008, 02:00:39 UTC
You say your tree is a dwarf. My hubby and I are thinking of planting a dwarf and I wondered what type you have and what zone it's planted in. It has such a beautiful shape but itson the large size for our space and I wondered how old it was too. I don't frequently blog and was just googling images, so if you want to email me try me at elainecobb@gmail.com. Thanks!

It's quite old, it was here when we moved in and I figure it's at least a dozen years old from how thick it is at the trunk. No sapling. We had no idea what breed it was but it bore heavily the first year, then drought took the apples last year and we've got lots this year.
