The Cephalaspis is cute but my favourite is the meganeura, it also reminds me of a photograph i took at my city's Natural Cit Museum some time ago but i haven' made any drawing depicting this marvelous insects yet: http://www.flickr.com/photos/12793493@N00/356979635/

I love your photo of the Meganeura in the museum. That is so spectacular. There was a gorgeous room-sized panoramic diorama of the Carboniferous in the Field Museum in Chicago, with the tree ferns and Meganeura and a giant roach or two climbing up the tree ferns, amphibians and everything. I loved it and feared it at the same time as a kid because I had a roach phobia.
I may have to do some more serious drawings or paintings of these creaturse sometime. But it's fun doing quick sketching for Sascha and it's good practice for the serious art later, it forces me to observe!
