My $50 bonus from eHow is in the bag, my 23d article is on Disability: How to Adapt to Mobility Limits. I put in a lot of tips for people in wheelchairs and power chairs too, because I've shopped using power chairs and known people who were permanently in wheelchairs. I hope it's useful to someone. I'm so happy for you Robert!

Have you thought of doing a 'how to draw a bird of paradise flower' and 'how to draw a rainbow lorikeet'?

Oooh those are two good ones! Yeah!

Except both of those would come out too good and I'd want them up on DeviantART for prints and things, and posted all over the place. I'm going into the six that have to be something I could let go of for $10 and be happy, and any version of a bird of paradise flower or a lorikeet would be good enough I should sell it online as an ACEO or OSWOA and post on dA.

I've got to think of simpler things till I hear back on the contract. If there isn't a problem with the art and images, then I'll do those early on. But I want to do simpler stuff like cartooning or little elements like tree bark till I know.

I really wish eHow would pay out money to non-American contributors. Then I could make a little bit of extra money from it to help towards future plans of self-employment. Ah well. That won't stop me from writing a few articles for it anyway. I'm all for the sharing of information. And I am glad to know that you're making a bit of money from it; one more step towards self-sufficiency!

I do too. There must be some legal problem with it or something that keeps them from just using PayPal for non-USA authors. They're very keen on the tax thing and will send me a W-9 for all of my earnings on the Writers Compensation Form every year--which is all right, since I am being very aboveboard with my taxes. That may be how I manage to save my income from getting sucked away completely anyway.

It's going to be a big help toward self sufficiency.

Hee hee, I got my tripod today! It's very tiny, just a screw connected to three sturdy flexible little legs that are all of maybe five inches long. A clever widget! I can understand why it's so cheap, but it's just as effective as a big one or more so for what I need it for. All of my photos of the setup for my current article came out clear and sharp when I used the tripod to balance my camera on the top of my oil painting box to shoot down at the setup. It really came out a good photo!

Ooh maybe I can post one of the photos I didn't use on ArtSoMoFo... since I got five and only needed one ( ... )
