We at the California Coalition Against Sexual Assault (CALCASA) would like to send our condolences and support to those affected by Hurricane Katrina which destroyed parts of the Gulf Coast of the United States. We have been in contact with the Louisiana Foundation Against Sexual Assault, and are aware of the massive devastation in the region. ( Read more... )

i was just thinking today how i wanted to make a contribution to the hurricane, but wanted it to be somewhere specific and trustworthy, not just to the general fund.

Can I point out that my friends are way better people than I am. They continuously inspire me to do good with my time by their amazing generosity and creative approach to life. Thank you SadieJones for being the first donor and for being generous for others.

Is this tax deductable? Do you have it on your website yet? When you do, I'll pass it around work... and Ella has a matching funds deal with her work so maybe we'll do it through that.

You are a rockstar. I'll have a more official looking pdf coming out soon. I'm not sure when we can get it on our website because our webguru is out till Tuesday.

BTW-It is tax deductiblicious.
