I'm not certain what, but there is a new ingredient that has been added to a lot of consumer personal care products in the last year that I'm very sensitive to. I have been using Lever 2000 since approximately when I couldn't find Palmolive soap anymore, but now I can't. I think it's a fragrance cause I don't react to the fragrance free versions of products, but I'm finding this ingredient in everything including shampoos.

I had to start buying soap at Trader Joe's.

Yup, I hear you ... and reading the label doesn't even help when the suspect substance(s) are lumped together under "fragrance."

I'm lucky in that I know I'm not reactive to natural lavender - and it's reasonably easy to find products that use that and ONLY that.

Some people have severe allergic reactions to aloe vera. Have you noticed any problems using products containing it before?
